About Me.
- I was born and raised in a Chicago suburb.
- I used to show Arabian horses professionally as a teenager.
- I attended Columbia College in Chicago where I earned my BA in film with a concentration in screenwriting.
- I was a finalist in the Chicago Screenwriting Competition in 1994.
- I moved to LA 4 days before Halloween in 1995. (My car broke down on the way. I had to grab 3 bags and fly).
- I interned for Dawn Steel shortly before she passed.
- I was a cocktail waitress at the Dresden Room from 1996-2000. (The “Swingers” years).
- In 1996, I modeled with Minnie Driver in a photo shoot for the British publication The Sunday Telegraph”.
- Definitely a cat person.
- I began script supervising in 1999 and never looked back.
- I have the most marvelous friends in the entire world.
- Sean Astin swore me in as an honorary GOONIE and I nearly cried.
- I am obsessed with New Wave music.
- I served Dorothy L’Amour her last birthday cake.
- If I could work for Cameron Crowe, I would consider doing it for free.
- I love London, ghost stories, summer, hot-as-sin salsa, the colour green & rollercoasters.
I LOVE Blondie and am probably considered a groupie.
I have a short story about meeting the band for the first time published in the book “Blondie:
From Punk To The Present”.
The entire band are the kindest, loveliest, most talented people imaginable.
I wrote a book about moving to LA, working in the
trendiest bar in town, and meeting every star imaginable. I’m currently looking for new representation, when I can find the time…
